It’s been a while. Okay not just a while. 10 months isn’t just a while but yeah, here I am again sharing my insights on a character so dear to me. Molly by Kenny Wong made me start collecting POP MART figures. Alright, let me be specific. Molly’s pouty lips made me start collecting POP MART figures. 😅 I mean look at that super cute face! RBF realnesszt!!!
Part of my childhood was assembling Gundam kits and mind you, I started with bootlegs. And when I assemble, I’m not the meticulous type where I have to use a specific type of cutter to remove the parts from the runner. Maybe 98% of the time, I just use my bare hands to detach them 😝.
When this figure was announced early this year, the inner child in me was stoked! The fusion of these 2 characters got me both excited and scared. Well you know why I got excited but the scary part – I know it ain’t cheap! 🙄 This figure was first launched to the public end of June this year somewhere in the vastness of China and was made availabe locally by R&G Enterprises. My go to place on any Art Toy-related extravaganza! 😂
The packaging is one of those you want to preserve because of the awesome construction and presentation. The details are so rich which had me so elated. So when you remove the outer cover upwards, you’ll see the inner packaging designed like a tech lab Stark-approved door(ish). Split them apart and you’ll be welcomed by a really nice, I mean uber really nice thick mini poster of Molly. This alone is a collectible on its own. ❤️
Behind the mini poster is a work of art waiting for you to admire, appreciate, cuddle and play with har! This is my first non-mini Molly and it’s super worth it!!! The figure is made of vinyl plastic and it comes with a water gun accessory. The head and both arms are articulated for those extra photogenic angles. And even on a Gundam-ish suit, her bitchy face still works! 🤣🤣🤣 Ish because what I see is a Gundam-inspired swim suit!

Molly is going swimming and I’m digging it!!! I got the regular version as white is more appealing to me than the red variant. Now I’m putting it back to its glorious packaging as my room seriously needs some Marie Kondo-ing. 🤣🤣🤣 ‘Til mah next toy review. 🦄
