It was Toy Con 2018 when I passed by this booth of South Korean Toy Designer brand ANATOY where I saw this uber cute figure and I remember wanting it sooo bad. It was only available via pre-order and so I said to myself, that’s a bummer but hey I don’t have to spend more because adulting is a major blah. 😂😂😂

I don’t have any plans of buying any merchandise on the last day of the event. I just wanted to take photos 📷 of what was happening with my friends. When we passed by the booth again, they had this sign saying “ALL ITEMS 50% OFF” and I froze. “Why you do this?” I shouted at the universe! HAHAHAHA I fell for it and got Bobby 💸💸💸. The owner also gave me free design sneakers and that’s why my Bobby was sporting this totally fetch Zebra print kicks. What a total steal you guys!

Owange Boy’s box is the same size as Bobby’s but it is window-type and you open it from the side. This is one of those rare instances that I don’t want to take the figure out of the box as this looks sooo good to me. The box itself is display-worthy. Look at those prints! ANATOY’s Owange Boy is a collaboration with its original designer Kong Andri. I got this figure online but didn’t opt for shipping. I coordinated with the designer and I just asked a friend to pick it up at the recent Thailand Toy Expo.
A 3-layer plastic holder is used to protect the figure from the harmful chemicals circling this disturbingly heavy-polluted environment. Chos!
The figure roughly stands 6-inch tall and is pretty light which makes it a handy companion if you want to take photos of him outdoors. Just make sure that you use bubble wrap for protection as you would like to keep that glossy paint job intact. 😉
Inside the box, you’ll also find a collectible card (not sure what to call it 😅) with the figure’s artwork and how you can disassemble its parts. I will surely have this signed by the artist come Toy Con 2019. 😍
The figure has 9 points of modularity. Meaning, you may interchange the parts with the other ANATOY figures which is totally owzuuummm!!! I recently found out that you may order this figure in matte coating and that’s equally beautiful too! ❤
I hate myself for being too lazy and not finding enough time to take decent artsy photos of my collection but given my current work schedule (ugh excuses!😝), I guess this indoor-shot-taken-during-my-lunch-break photo would do for now 😅.
